About CC

CC Sullivan is a writer and graphic artist from Toronto, Canada.

Originally from Burgundy, France, she spent most of her childhood moving from continent to continent with her family. She went back to live in Burgundy from 2007 to 2009—a time and significant source of inspiration for her PARAGON series.

Besides her Diploma in Communication and Design from the Ontario College of Art and Design, she received her Bachelor of Design in 2005. She studied Anthropology, History of Design, and History of the Renaissance. She became fascinated with the artists of the Renaissance and other historical figures and developed the premise for her series. She drew from personal experience and from a visit to Italy to describe the Florence in her first novel.

In Book 1, Masters of the Elements, she hopes to inspire her readers to discover her characters, as well as Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo Buonarroti who contributed significantly to the world of Art.

She is currently writing the second and third instalment of the Elements series, Warriors of the Elements and Guardians of the Elements, where Lena and her group of friends continue to face many challenges on their journey to finding where they belong.
